Nizam Stores

We are located at 3/327 Periyar Salai in Palavakkam, which is a busy part of Chennai near the coast. The road outside is always moving with cars and bikes heading towards the ECR. Our store is a place where locals and people traveling through can stop for their basic needs. We keep a good supply of groceries, snacks, and cold drinks, which are especially popular when the weather gets really hot. The sea breeze sometimes reaches us, but mostly it’s just the humid heat and the sound of traffic. We have been running this place for a while and have seen the neighborhood grow and change around us. The shelves are filled with everything from rice bags to small household items that people suddenly find they need. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything and making sure nothing goes out of stock. We don't have a big team, just a few of us working together to serve the customers. Sometimes the shop gets very busy in the evenings when people are heading home from work, and we have to move fast to keep the line moving. It’s not a polished or corporate kind of place. It’s just a local store where we try to do our best every day. We know many of our customers by their faces, and we like that personal side of the business. It’s just our way of being part of the Palavakkam community.
