Nithish Trading Company

We operate out of a small space at No. 36 on Alagar Street in Begampur. It is one of those streets where everyone knows everyone’s business. We’ve been here at Nithish Trading Company for quite a while now, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint if I’m being honest. Most of our day is spent dealing with local vendors and getting the orders ready for the morning deliveries. It gets pretty cramped inside when the new stock arrives, and we have to stack things right up to the ceiling. I usually handle the bookkeeping while my nephew does most of the heavy lifting and talks to the customers. We don't have a website or anything like that, just a landline that rings more than it should. Sometimes people stop by just to chat about the local news or the weather. It is a bit disorganized at times, especially on Mondays, but we always find what we are looking for eventually. The street outside is narrow, so when a truck comes through, everything has to stop for a minute. We’ve thought about moving to a bigger place, but this spot is convenient and we like being part of the neighborhood. It is just a basic trading business run by regular people who show up every day and do the work. It’s nothing special, just our life.
