We are located at 23/16 Nehru Street in Arumbakkam. This area is right between Egmore and Nungambakkam, so it’s pretty central. Neyni Sweets And Savouries Llp is a small operation where we make traditional snacks. Nehru Street is a bit narrow, so parking can be a headache for us and the customers. Most of our day is spent around big iron vats of oil or large trays of sweets. We make things like murukku, mixture, and different kinds of laddoos. It’s very manual work. We have a few people who are really good at shaping the snacks by hand. The smell of ghee and fried flour is everywhere in our building. Sometimes we run out of a particular ingredient and someone has to rush to the market to get more, which is just part of the daily chaos. We don’t have a corporate office or anything like that. Our "office" is just a small desk in the corner of the shop where we keep the ledger. We’ve got some regular customers from Kannapp An Nagar who have been coming to us for a long time. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned way to run a business, but it works for us. We aren't looking to become a global brand or anything. We just like making good snacks and seeing the local people enjoy them. It’s just our little spot in Arumbakkam.
