New World

We are located at number 2 on Madipakkam Main Road. If you know Madipakkam, you know how busy this street gets in the evenings. New World has been around here for quite some time now. We aren't a massive chain or anything, just a local spot where people drop in. Usually, it's pretty loud outside with all the bikes and cars passing by the front door. Inside, we just handle the day-to-day stuff. My brother and I take turns being behind the counter. Sometimes we have a helper too when it gets busy. We don't have a big corporate office or a marketing team. We just open the shutters in the morning and see who comes in. The shop is cozy, maybe a bit cramped when we get a big shipment in, but it works for us. We've seen the road change a lot over the years. New shops come and go, but we’re still here at the same spot. It’s a decent place to work. People around here are mostly friendly and they know us by name now. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the shop on the main road. If we’re not here, the sign is usually turned off. We try to stay till late because that’s when most people are walking back from the station. It’s a simple life running a place like New World. We just keep doing what we do every day. It's how we spend our time.
