New Rathnam Stores

People who live in Thiruvanmiyur probably know where we are because of that signal on Lattice Bridge Road. It gets really busy out there, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home and the traffic just piles up. New Rathnam Stores is right in the middle of all that noise. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a place where you can find what you need for the kitchen or the house without a lot of fuss. We spend most of the day unpacking boxes and trying to find space on the shelves for new stock. It gets a bit cramped sometimes when three or four people are trying to walk down the same narrow aisle at once. We’ve got the regular items like pulses, soaps, and those snacks the kids like. Sometimes the fan near the counter makes a bit of a rattling sound, but it keeps things moving. We usually open up early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. Most of our customers are people from the nearby blocks who just need a few things and don't want to drive to a big mall. We know most of them by face, even if we don't always remember every name. It’s just how things go here on LB Road. We keep the doors open, watch the cars go by, and try to make sure we don’t run out of the basics people ask for every day.
