New Prince Matriculation Higher Secondary School

We've been here on 8th Street in Adambakkam for a long time now. People around Chennai know where New Prince is. It’s a busy spot near No 35/1 A. The building is usually full of noise from the kids running around or teachers trying to get through the day's lessons. It isn't a fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. We just have regular classrooms and a lot of old desks. The teachers here have been working with students from all sorts of backgrounds for years. Some of them have seen two generations of the same family come through these doors. Morning assembly starts early, and the traffic outside can get a bit loud, but it’s just part of the day. We handle the higher secondary levels too, so the older kids are always worrying about their exams while the younger ones are just playing. It’s just a normal school life here. We don't have a massive playground, but there's enough space for the kids to breathe. The halls can get a bit hot in the afternoons, but that’s just how things are in this part of town. We try to keep things organized as much as possible. It’s just us doing what we can for the neighborhood kids. Most of the staff live nearby, so everyone knows each other. It’s a community thing more than anything else. We are just a local school on a regular street.
