Mtr High Quality Provision Stores

Mtr High Quality Provision Stores is located at No 39 on the East Coast Road in Thiruvanmiyur. We are quite close to the RTO office there. Being on the ECR means we see a lot of people traveling towards the beach or further down the coast. Our store has been a fixture here for a while. The name has high quality in it because we try to pick the better batches of pulses and grains from the market. It’s a decent-sized shop but it always feels a bit full because of the stock we keep. We have all the usual household stuff like cleaning supplies, snacks, and cooking ingredients. The traffic on ECR can be quite loud, especially on the weekends. We have a few boys who help with carrying heavy bags to the customers' cars. It’s not a fancy supermarket with trolleys, just a regular counter service. Sometimes people have to wait a bit if we are busy weighing out items. We don't really do any home delivery, people just stop by on their way home. The salt air from the sea nearby sometimes makes the metal shutters a bit rusty, so we have to paint them every year. It’s a good spot to be in. We just focus on keeping the shelves filled with what people ask for most. The fans keep the place somewhat cool but the Chennai humidity is always there. It is just a regular life here on the coast for us.
