Magic Box

Magic Box is located at No 1A Vasust B in Kilpauk, Chennai. It’s a little shop in a busy part of the city where things are always moving fast. We have a lot of different items packed onto the shelves, from small toys to little gadgets and gift things. It’s not the biggest place, so if two or three people come in at once, it starts to feel a bit crowded. We spend a lot of time trying to organize everything, but things always seem to end up in the wrong spots. Chennai weather is usually quite hot, so we keep the door closed to try and keep some of the cool air in, but people are always coming and going. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just open the shop in the morning, sweep the front, and wait to see who comes by. Sometimes we get kids looking for something cheap to play with, and other times it’s people looking for a quick birthday present. The Vasust B building is easy enough to find if you know Kilpauk at all. It’s a simple business, really. We just try to keep the shelves stocked and make sure we know where everything is when someone asks for it. It gets a bit tiring standing all day, but that’s just how it is when you run a shop.
