Lots Of Tots Pre School

We're located at number 11 on 7th Street in Durga Colony, which is right in the Sembakkam area. It’s a pretty standard residential spot, so we’re surrounded by houses and a few small shops. The school started off quite small, just a couple of rooms really, and we’ve tried to make the most of the space we have. There’s always a pile of shoes by the door and the sound of kids laughing or crying, depending on the time of day. We don't use any fancy systems or high-tech gear. It's mostly just blocks, crayons, and some old storybooks that have been read a hundred times. The neighborhood knows us pretty well by now. We see the same people walking their dogs or going to the market every morning while we’re setting things up. It’s a lot of physical work, bending down to talk to the kids and cleaning up spills. We don't have a big staff, so everyone chips in with everything from teaching to fixing a broken chair. Sembakkam is a nice place to be, even if the roads get a bit narrow when everyone is trying to park. We just try to provide a decent place for the toddlers in the colony to spend their time. It’s nothing spectacular, just a basic school run by people who care about what they’re doing. We’ve had kids come through here who are now in big schools, which is nice to see.
