Krm Public School

Krm Public School is tucked away in Block 11 of Shanthi Nagar, on the second lane in Sembium. If you know the Perambur area of Chennai, you know it can be a bit crowded and busy. Our school fits right into the neighborhood. We have been here for a while, and the building has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and full of life. The mornings start with the sound of prayer and then the quick shift into the first period. We have students coming from all the surrounding streets in Sembium. The hallways are narrow, and it can get a bit stuffy when the Chennai humidity kicks in, but we have enough fans to keep the air moving. We don't have a fancy website or a big PR team. Most of what we do is just day-to-day teaching and managing the classrooms. The teachers sit in a small room during their breaks, usually sharing lunch and talking about the kids. We have a playground that sees a lot of action during the lunch hour. It’s just a normal school where we try to keep things running smoothly despite the occasional power cut or heavy rain. We are just part of the local landscape here in Perambur. Parents know us and we know them, which makes the whole thing feel a bit more like a community than just a business.
