Kindergarten Nursery School

Kindergarten Nursery School is located on Kanni Amman Koil Street in Anakaputhur. It’s a small place, which is good for the little ones we have here. The building is painted in bright colors, though some of it is starting to peel a bit from the sun and the rain. We have a tiny yard where the kids can play on the slides. It’s never quiet here during the day. There’s always someone singing or crying or laughing. We keep a lot of toys and blocks in the corners of the rooms. The floors are covered with mats so the kids don't get hurt when they tumble around. We spend a lot of time wiping sticky hands and helping with shoelaces. It’s a lot of work, but it’s what we do. Parents often linger at the gate to chat for a minute before they head off to work. Kanni Amman Koil Street is a narrow one, so it gets crowded during drop-off times. We try to keep things moving so the neighbors don't get upset. Inside, it smells like crayons and sometimes snacks. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us teachers and the kids. We do our best to make it a decent place for them to spend their mornings. It is just a simple little nursery for the local families in the Anakaputhur area and we are glad to be here.
