Js Spiccy Nuts

Our shop is at No. 2, Anna Main Road, right in the Kodambakkam area. It is a busy stretch of road, so there is always something going on outside our door. We deal with nuts and spices, and you can usually smell the stuff from the sidewalk. The shop isn’t very large, so we have to be smart about how we stack the bags and containers. We spend a lot of our time measuring out portions or checking the quality of the new stock that comes in from the suppliers. Kodambakkam is a hectic place to work, but it keeps things interesting. We get all sorts of people walking in, from folks living just down the street to people who are just passing through Anna Main Road. We don’t really bother with much decoration or anything like that. The walls are mostly covered with shelves, and we have a scale on the counter that gets a lot of use. Sometimes the humidity makes things a bit tough, so we have to be careful about how we store everything. It’s a lot of manual labor, moving heavy sacks around and making sure the displays are full. We’ve been here for a while, and the routine hasn’t changed much over the years. We just open up in the morning, set things out, and start the day. It is a basic, honest way to make a living, and we just focus on the task at hand without overthinking it.
