Jeshvik Supermarket

Our supermarket is on Audiappa Naicken Street, right near Hotel Mahasakthi in Sowcarpet. If you know Sowcarpet, you know it’s one of the busiest parts of town. We opened this place to give people a spot where they could grab everything they need without having to wander through ten different small stalls. The aisles are a bit narrow because we try to fit as much as we can on the shelves. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when two people try to pass with baskets, but everyone is used to it. We stock all the regular stuff like pulses, spices, and household cleaners. It’s a lot of work keeping the shelves full. One of us is usually roaming around with a price gun or a broom. We don't have those fancy automatic doors or anything like that. It’s just a glass door that people push open all day long. The noise from the street outside is always there, even when the fans are humming inside. We see a lot of the same faces every day, which is nice. Most people just want to find their brand of tea or flour and get on with their day. We try to keep things organized, but on busy Saturdays, it can get a bit messy. It’s just a neighborhood store trying to keep up with the local demand. We do our best to stay stocked up on the things people use every day.
