J B Mini Mart

Working at J B Mini Mart at No-6, Mehta Nagar Main Road, keeps us on our feet. We are located in Maga Lakshmi Nagar, right in the Seleiyur area, and being opposite Purvika Mobile makes us easy to spot for anyone driving by. The shop is a typical local mini mart. We have shelves full of the things people need daily, from snacks to household items. Every morning starts the same way—bringing in the fresh bread and milk and making sure everything looks decent for the early shoppers. It’s a small space, so it can get a bit cramped when three or four people are in the aisles at once. We know a lot of our customers by name because they live just a few streets away in Mehta Nagar. We don't have a fancy checkout system; it’s just us at the counter bagging things up and making small talk. Sometimes the kids from the neighborhood come in after school for sweets, and that’s always a busy time. We try to keep the prices fair and the stock replenished, though sometimes we run out of the popular stuff faster than we expect. The Seleiyur traffic can be quite loud outside, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. It’s a honest living, and we enjoy being the place where people can grab what they forgot to buy at the big market. We just keep the lights on and the shelves stocked for everyone.
