Hariprasad Store

Down at number 66 in Kamarajar Nagar, we have been running Hariprasad Store for a good stretch of time. We are right by Eareekarai in Maduravoyal. It is a quiet enough corner most of the time although you get more people walking by when the weather is nice. We try to keep the staples in stock so nobody has to go too far for their basic kitchen needs or household stuff. The space inside is a bit tight because we try to fit a lot of different items onto the shelves. You might have to squeeze past a crate of soda or a bag of rice depending on the day. Sometimes the delivery truck blocks the narrow road for a minute while we unload things. We usually open up early in the morning before most people are even awake to get the milk and bread sorted out. It’s just how things go here. There isn't much to say about the decor because it’s just plain walls and wooden racks that have seen better days. We know most of the people who come in by their first names or at least recognize their faces from seeing them around the block. If you’re looking for a big flashy supermarket this isn't it. It is just a small place serving the local families here in Maduravoyal. We just keep doing what we do every day without making a big fuss about it.
