Hans Apparels Company

Our workshop, Hans Apparels Company, is situated at 315 G. S. T. Road in Chrompet. It is basically a big room full of people working hard to get clothes finished. The address is easy to find because it’s right on the main stretch, even if the traffic makes it hard to park sometimes. We have been doing this for quite a while now and we have a routine that works for us. There are rolls of cloth stacked against the walls and paper patterns hanging from hooks. It is not the cleanest place in the world because of all the lint and fabric scraps, but we sweep up every evening. We don't use any fancy computer systems to design things, we just use chalk and scissors like we always have. The staff likes to sit together for lunch and talk about what's happening in their lives. It feels more like a small family than a big company. We have had some of the same customers for a decade because they know we are just regular people doing our job. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the roof leak a bit, so we have to be careful where we put the finished boxes. We just keep our heads down and do the work, day in and day out. It’s a simple business on a busy road, and that’s just how we like to keep it.
