Bismillah Cap Mart

You can find Bismillah Cap Mart at number 61 on Sydenhams Road. Periamet is a busy area, and this street is always full of people and vehicles. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit, but it serves us well. We deal with caps and have shelves full of them all the way to the ceiling. It’s a lot to keep track of, but we know where everything is. The morning routine is usually the same—open up, sweep the front, and get the tea ready. Sydenhams Road gets very noisy with the trucks and bikes going past, but we’re used to it by now. The shop is a bit cramped because we try to keep so much in stock. Sometimes customers come in looking for something specific, and we have to dig through the back to find it. It's a family-run kind of thing, so there’s always someone you know behind the counter. We don't spend much on decorating or anything like that. We just focus on the caps. The afternoon sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard, so we usually pull the awning down to keep it cool inside. Most of the people around here know us because we’ve been in Periamet for so many years. It’s a straightforward business, nothing too complicated about it. We just open the doors every day and see who comes by to browse through the stacks of hats.
