Bamboo Heaven

Our place is called Bamboo Heaven and you can find us at number 16 in Perungudi. We are on Mgr Veeranam Road in Kandanchavadi. This area has grown a lot because of all the IT offices nearby, but we have tried to keep our little spot feeling a bit more natural. We chose the name because we like the idea of a peaceful place amidst all the concrete buildings. It is a simple setup where we serve food to the local workers and residents. Chennai can be incredibly hot, so we try to make the space feel as cool as possible for anyone coming in. We do not have any fancy marketing slogans or a big corporate history. We just opened up because we wanted to run our own business in this part of town. The road outside can get very crowded during office hours, with bikes and cars everywhere. We spend most of our day in the kitchen or tidying up the seating area. Our staff is local, and we all live nearby, so we know the neighborhood well. Sometimes we run out of certain items if the lunch crowd is bigger than usual, but we just do our best to keep everyone happy. It is a modest place with wooden accents and a few plants here and there. We are not trying to be a five-star restaurant. We just want to be a reliable spot where you can get a good meal.
