Banu Rasodu

Banu Rasodu is located in G Block of Anna Nagar West. Our address is No 1605 on 9th Street, just off the 15th Main Road. We’re quite close to Sridevi Hospital, so that’s a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. This place is basically our second home. We spend almost all our time here in the kitchen. It’s a family-run sort of thing. We don’t have any fancy titles or corporate structures. We just cook. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which we like, though the main road can get a bit hectic during rush hour. We started this because we wanted to share the kind of food we grew up with. It’s not always easy, and there are days when things go wrong—a delivery is late or a machine breaks down—but we just fix it and keep moving. We don't use a lot of fancy equipment; it’s mostly traditional methods. People from around the G Block come by often. We know most of our regulars by their first names. We aren’t trying to expand into a giant franchise or anything like that. We just want to keep making good food right here in Anna Nagar West. It’s a practical business for us, and it keeps us busy. We just hope that when someone eats our food, they feel like they’ve had a proper, honest meal that wasn't made in a factory.
