Grocy Shop

You can find our shop at 19, Pattur Main Road, right here in Noordeen Nagar, Iyyappanthangal. It is a small place but we pack a lot into it. Every morning starts pretty much the same way with milk crates and bread being dropped off before the sun is even fully up. We spend a lot of time just putting things back on the shelves and making sure nothing is tucked away where people can't find it. The neighborhood has changed a bit over the years but Noordeen Nagar stays fairly quiet compared to the busier parts of town. We see the same faces every day, mostly folks living on the nearby streets who just need something quick for dinner or a bit of soap they forgot to buy elsewhere. It gets a bit crowded in here during the evening rush when people are coming home from work, but we usually get through the line fast enough. We don't have a big team or anything, just a couple of us making sure the lights are on and the floor is swept. Sometimes the stock doesn't arrive on time and we have to explain why certain things are missing, but most people around Iyyappanthangal are understanding about it. It’s just a regular local shop where we know most of our customers by name and try to keep the staples ready on the counter. Nothing too complicated about how we run things day to day.
