Grace Matriculation Higher Secondary School

Grace Matriculation is located at No 4/17, Kambar Street in Porur, Chennai. It is tucked away in the neighborhood, so it feels a bit more private than the schools on the big highways. The street is usually lined with scooters and parents waiting around three in the afternoon. We have a multi-story building that has seen many groups of students pass through its doors over the years. The air in Porur can be quite humid, so we are used to that. Inside, the classrooms are filled with wooden desks that have been around for a while. We have the higher secondary classes too, so the students stay with us until they are ready for college. The staff room is always a bit cluttered with papers and books. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. Usually, it is just the principal or one of the senior teachers handling the visitors. We focus on the everyday things, like making sure the blackboard is clean and the chalk is ready. The school bell is quite loud and you can hear it throughout Kambar Street. It marks the start and end of our world every day. We just try to keep things running smoothly without too much fuss or trouble for anyone.
