The shop isn't very big, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. We’ve been at this address for a while now. Most of our day is spent dealing with suppliers and making sure the stock is right. It gets pretty loud on K K Street with the bikes and the people talking. We don't have a professional marketing person, so we just talk to people who walk in. It’s a very hands-on job. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy when it rains, so we’re always cleaning. We don't use big words or try to act like a huge corporation. We’re just a local business in Pudupet. The regulars come in for their usual items, and we usually have a chat about the weather or local events. It's a simple way to live. We don't have any fancy goals besides just being open and ready for the day. Sometimes we run out of things and have to scramble to get more. That’s just how it is when you run a small food place. We’re at number 14, and most people around here know where that is. It’s honest work and we like the people we meet every day.
