Government Upgraded Primary School Chilugodu

This school is located at No 42 Aviva Enclave, specifically in Nanmangalam Lane 2 in Kovilambakkam. It’s a government primary school that was upgraded to include more classes as the number of kids in this part of Chennai grew. The neighborhood is a bit quieter than the city center, but it's developing fast. Our school building is a modest one, sitting right among the houses and small lanes. It’s where the local kids come to start their early years of education. We have the usual setup with a small courtyard where they play during the break. The classrooms are basic, with charts on the walls and the teachers’ desks at the front. We don't have air conditioning or high-tech gadgets; it’s just old-fashioned teaching with books and chalk. Most of the children live within walking distance, so you see them coming in groups every morning. The teachers here are mostly from the nearby areas too. It feels more like a community center than a big institution. We handle the midday meals and the daily lessons as part of our routine. It’s not a fancy place, and we don't pretend it is. We are just here to provide a primary education to the families in Kovilambakkam who need a local school for their children. The rain sometimes makes the lane a bit muddy, but the kids don't seem to mind much. We have a small staff room where we sit and plan the next day's work together.
