We run Gnanambiga Catering Service Alwarthirunagar from our place at No 83 in Velan Nagar. We are located in Valasarawakkam, 600087, and we are quite close to the Keshavardhini Bus Stop. It’s a local operation we’ve had going for a while. We do catering for all sorts of small and big functions around this area. Our days usually start very early in the morning when we have to get the supplies from the market. The kitchen is always a bit chaotic with all the pots and pans, but we know where everything is. We aren't a big corporate catering firm with shiny trucks. We’re just local people who know how to cook for a crowd. Most of our neighbors know us, and a lot of our work comes from word of mouth in Valasarawakkam. We don't really have a fancy office; we mostly work out of the space here in Velan Nagar. It can be a bit stressful when we have three different orders to deliver on the same day, but we manage to get it done somehow. We don't use any marketing talk or big promises. We just tell people what we can do and then we go do it. If you’re near the bus stop, you might even smell the food cooking. It’s hard work and we’re often tired by the end of it, but it’s what we do.
