A To Z Caterers

A To Z Caterers is based at No 54-E in Anna Nagar East. We are right near the Kilpauk Water Tank, which is a huge structure you can't really miss. It’s a decent neighborhood to work in, though parking can be a real nightmare if you don't know the side streets. We handle a lot of different food requests, which is probably why the name stuck. Our kitchen isn't anything fancy, just a lot of stainless steel and big burners that we keep going for hours. We don't have a glossy brochure or a sales team. Usually, it's just the owner or one of the head cooks answering the phone when someone calls to ask about a menu. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the vegetables and making sure we have enough spices in the pantry. Catering is a lot of logistics, really. It’s about timing everything so the food doesn’t sit around getting cold. We’ve had our fair share of burnt pots and late deliveries over the years, but we’ve learned from those mistakes. Now we just focus on the task at hand. It’s a lot of hard work, especially during the wedding season when we barely get any sleep, but we’ve been doing it so long it just feels normal now. We're just local people making food for other local people in this part of town.
