If you head over to C.M. Palayam, you'll find us on School Street. The address is a bit long, No. 440/3d and 164/1, but we are easy to spot near the school. We are Emerging Foodstuffs, and we mostly handle various types of dry goods and food items. It’s a North Coimbatore neighborhood, so it feels a bit different from the city center. Our work is straightforward. We take in raw materials and process them into smaller packs or different forms. There is no corporate ladder here. Everyone just rolls up their sleeves and gets to it. The street can get a bit crowded when school lets out, so we try to schedule our pickups around those times. It’s a practical workspace with concrete floors and metal shelves. We don't spend money on fancy decorations. Most of our focus goes into making sure the machines are oiled and the bags are sealed tight. Sometimes the weather makes the storage tricky, but we’ve got a good system now. We’ve been here for a while and we know the delivery drivers by name. It’s not a flashy business. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. We keep things moving and try to stay organized in our own way. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide good foodstuffs to the local area.
