Dr. Rajalakshmi Sundarajan Educational Society

Our society is located at number 7, Rajaji Street. It’s right in the middle of Kamaraj nagar. The building is usually full of noise from people coming and going. We focus on education and helping students out with their learning. We started this place quite some time ago. It’s not a big corporate school, just a community-focused society. We have a few classrooms and an office where we keep all the records and files. The walls have some old posters and student work pinned on them. Sometimes the fans are a bit squeaky when they are on full speed. We spend a lot of time talking to parents and organizing daily lessons. It feels like a busy house sometimes more than a formal office. We have a small staff who have been with us for many years. We all know each other well and work together. During the monsoon, the street outside gets a bit flooded, but we still open up for the day. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the local families to tell their neighbors about what we do here. It's honest, simple work. We try to help as many people as we can with the resources we have available. Sometimes things are a bit disorganized, but we always figure it out in the end. It’s a place where learning happens in a very simple and direct way. We just want to see the kids do better.
