Day To Day

Our shop is Day To Day, and we are at 173 A on S V M Road. If you know where the Katchadeswarar Temple is, then you know where we are because we are very close to it. Being near a temple means our days are shaped by the festivals and the morning prayers. There are always people walking past with flowers or heading to the shrine. Our shop isn't very large, but we try to keep what people need. S V M Road can be a bit tight when there are a lot of vehicles, but that is just part of being in this area. We open early most days to get a head start. Sometimes the temple bells are the first thing we hear. We spend a lot of time arranging items on the shelves. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside 173 A sometimes when we get a delivery. We aren’t trying to be anything special, just a local spot where you can grab things. Most of the people who come in live right around the corner. We know their names and what they usually look for. It’s a steady pace, nothing too fast but never really silent either. We just keep the doors open and do our work until it is time to close up at night. Each day is about the same, just handling the shop here on S V M Road near the temple.
