People often get confused about our address because it has a new number and an old number. We are sitting right here on 7th Avenue in Ashok Nagar, specifically on 56th Street. It is a busy spot but we have been here long enough that most of the neighbors know where the gate is. Usually, the mornings start very early for us because there is always something to chop or a large pot to get onto the stove. We handle a lot of different food orders for folks around the city. Sometimes it is just a small lunch for a family gathering and other times it is much bigger. The kitchen stays pretty warm throughout the day. We try to keep things organized but when there are five different things cooking at once it gets a bit hectic. You can see the crates being moved around and the staff busy with packing things into the transport vehicles. It is not a fancy setup. It is just a workspace where we get the cooking done. We use the space we have on the ground floor. Most of our day is spent checking the lists of ingredients and making sure we didn't forget the salt or the spices for the next batch. Ashok Nagar has changed a lot since we started but this corner stays mostly the same. We just keep our heads down and work on the next order.
