Cauvery Stores

You can find us at number 3 on the Main Road in Thenpathi. We are right across from the Goodluck Construction site, which has been quite a landmark lately. Cauvery Stores has been around for a while now. We aren't a big supermarket chain. We’re just a local store where you can get what you need without a lot of fuss. The shelves are packed and sometimes it’s hard to find things if you aren't used to how we organize them. But we are always around to help find a specific brand or a particular item. We know most of our customers by their first names. It’s that kind of place. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy philosophy. We just open the doors in the morning and stay until the last customer leaves in the evening. The floor is a bit worn out from all the feet walking over it, and the paint might be peeling in a corner, but it’s a real shop. We don't try to impress anyone with shiny displays. We just keep the staples in stock and try to be fair. It’s a noisy street with all the construction and the traffic going by, but once you step inside, it feels familiar. We’ve seen kids grow up and start coming in to buy things for their own homes. That’s just the way life goes in Thenpathi.
