Bosco Academy Matriculation Higher Secondary School

Our school is at 174 Madhavaram High Road in the Madhavaram area of Chennai. It is a very busy road, and we are right there in the thick of it. The school is a matriculation higher secondary institution, so we handle a lot of students across many different grade levels. The building is a big one, sitting right on the main road, and it’s been a landmark in Madhavaram for many years. We have a lot of classrooms, and they stay pretty full throughout the day. The morning rush is always something to see, with buses and rickshaws lined up outside the gates. Once everyone is inside, the school has a life of its own, with the sound of teachers lecturing and students responding. We have a playground that gets very busy during the breaks, and it's usually quite a noisy time. The facilities are basic and functional; we don't have anything that would be called luxury. It’s just a place for learning. Sometimes the fans are noisy or the paint is peeling in the corners, but we try to keep the place in decent shape. The staff is a mix of people who have been here forever and some newer faces. We all know the local area well and the challenges the students face. It is a practical, no-nonsense kind of place where the focus is on getting the day's work done and preparing for exams. It’s just a normal day.
