Balu Stores

Balu Stores is located on M T H Road in Varadharajapuram, which is in the Ambattur area of Chennai, 600053. We are right on the main road where all the traffic passes through Ambattur. Our shop is just a small local place that has been around for a good while now. We spend most of our time at Balu Stores managing the stock and talking to the people who live nearby. The shop gets quite warm during the day because of the Chennai weather, but we have a small ceiling fan that helps a bit. We have wooden shelves that we built ourselves many years ago. They are a bit worn down now, but they still hold everything just fine. We do not use any fancy machines to count things, just a simple calculator and our hands. M T H Road can be very noisy with all the horns and engines, but we have gotten used to it. It is just the two of us working here most days. We handle the deliveries when they arrive and stack the crates near the entrance. Sometimes we forget to put things back exactly where they belong, so the shop looks a bit cluttered. But the people in Varadharajapuram do not seem to mind. They know us and we know them. It is just a normal way to earn a living in this part of the city. We keep things honest and we work hard every day.
