Ashnaa Food Court

We are right in the middle of the madness at 4/7 Mannady Street in Parrys. If you know Chennai, you know how busy Parrys gets during the daytime. It is loud, crowded, and always moving. Our food court is a place where people can duck out of the heat for a bit and grab a plate of food. We have different counters for different things, and the kitchen is always steaming. It’s not a quiet place for a romantic dinner; it’s a place for workers, shoppers, and students to eat quickly and get back to their day. We start cleaning the floors and prepping the vegetables way before the sun gets too high in the sky. The street outside is narrow and usually blocked by delivery carts or scooters, so getting things in and out is always a bit of a challenge. Our staff is used to the pace and we just keep the orders coming. We use everyday ingredients and don't try to be something we are not. It’s just food for people who are busy. We’ve been at this Mannady Street spot for a while, and we’ve seen shops come and go, but people always need a place to eat lunch. We try to keep the prices fair because we know our customers work hard for their money. It’s a bit noisy and cramped sometimes, but that’s just how Parrys is. We are just glad to have a spot in this part of town.
