Annai International

We work out of No. 71/3 in Gem Flats. We’re located in Collector Nagar, which is part of the Anna Nagar West Extension. It’s a lot quieter than the main commercial hubs of Chennai. Since Annai International is in a residential flat, it doesn’t feel like a typical office. There’s a kitchen where we make our own coffee and a small balcony where we sometimes take phone calls. It’s a small operation, so it’s mostly just a few desks squeezed into the rooms. We handle international trade and paperwork from here. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood, like the vegetable vendors or the neighbors’ cars, while we work. It’s a comfortable enough spot, but it can get a bit tight when we have too many files or samples laying around. We don’t have a big sign outside, so people usually have to call us to find the right door. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad. We don't have a formal dress code; most days it's just casual clothes since it’s just us. We like the peace and quiet of Collector Nagar compared to the chaos of the city center. It’s a simple setup that works for what we do. We just sit down, get on the computers, and handle the day's business until it’s time to head home.
