Santhosh Super Stores is right on 2nd Avenue in Anna Nagar. If you know where Nathella is, you’ve basically found us. We are tucked into a very busy part of the neighborhood. The doors are pretty much always swinging open with people coming in for milk, bread, or whatever they forgot for dinner. It gets really crowded in the evenings when everyone is getting off work. We spend a lot of time restacking the shelves because things move fast here. The floors get scuffed up from all the foot traffic, so we are always sweeping. We have a few staff members who have been here for a long time and they know exactly where everything is, even when we move things around. It’s a noisy place with the sound of the billing machines and people talking. We don’t have much space in the back, so we have to be careful about how we store the new stock when the trucks arrive. Sometimes the crates get piled up high near the entrance for a bit. It’s a local spot where you see the same faces every week. We aren't a giant warehouse, just a regular store trying to keep the essentials on the shelves. It’s a bit chaotic at times, especially during the holidays, but we just keep scanning items and bagging them up. It’s a simple business, keeping people fed and supplied.
