Ammapaa Foods

Ammapaa Foods sits at 216 on Mth Road in the S Bazaar area of Thandurai. It is a local place, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. We have been working here for some time now, dealing with all kinds of food supplies. Thandurai is a place where everyone seems to know everyone else, so we see a lot of the same people every day. The shop is usually busy in the mornings when people are out doing their shopping for the day. We spend quite a bit of time unloading bags and organizing the shelves. Sometimes we run out of something popular and have to tell people to come back tomorrow. It happens. We aren't trying to be the biggest business around, just a reliable one for the folks who live nearby. The traffic on Mth Road can get pretty loud during the day, but we don't mind it much anymore. Inside, it smells like different grains and spices, which is something I have grown to like. My cousin helps me with the heavy lifting because some of the sacks are quite weighted. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just stay here and talk to whoever walks through the door. It is a basic way of doing things, but it works for us. We keep the ledger by the front and mark everything down by hand. It is just a normal day at the shop for us.
