Amirtha Catering

Our place is on Ponamabalam Salai in K K Nagar, which is quite close to the Iyappan Kovil. We have been doing catering from this spot for some time now. Mostly we deal with people in the neighborhood who have small functions or family gatherings at home. It gets busy in the morning when the cooking starts and the smell of spices fills up the small street. K K Nagar is a nice area but the roads can get a bit tight when we are loading up the van with food containers. We don't have a big office or anything like that, just our kitchen where the work happens. Sometimes people walk in to ask about prices for a birthday or a small wedding. We just tell them what we can do and what we can't. It is honest work and we stay busy most months of the year. The temple nearby brings a lot of people to this side of town, so most people know where we are located. We use simple recipes and just try to make sure the food is ready on time because nobody likes late food at a party. The staff here has been with us for a while so they know how we do things. It is just a local catering setup trying to keep up with the daily orders we get from people around Chennai.
