Ahaar Catering

Ahaar Catering is located over on Vanniyar Street in Choolaimedu. If you head to number 108, that’s where you’ll find us working. Choolaimedu is a busy residential area, and we’ve been here serving the local community for some time now. Our day starts with checking the list of orders for the day and getting the groceries sorted. We do a lot of office lunches and small home parties. The street outside is always full of bikes and people moving around, which keeps things interesting. Inside the kitchen, it’s all about the routine—boiling, frying, and packing. We have a few regular helpers who have been with us for years, so we have a good rhythm going. It’s not a quiet job, there’s always something bubbling or someone calling out an order. We try to stay organized, though sometimes when three orders come in at once, it gets a bit chaotic. We don't use any fancy machinery, just regular stoves and large vessels. Most of our customers come from the nearby apartments and offices around Vanniyar Street. They know us by name, and we know what they usually like to eat. It’s a small operation, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Sunday. We just focus on making the food and getting it out the door on time, without any complicated processes or corporate talk. We aren't doing anything special, just cooking.
