A One Hair Style.

A One Hair Style has been on Thippu Street for a while now. If you know Mount Road and Ellisroad, you know how busy it gets around here. Our shop is at No.354/5, and it’s a small spot but it works for us. I spend most of my day here from morning until late evening. The street outside is always noisy with bikes and people rushing to work. Inside, it's a bit quieter. I have some pictures on the wall of different hair styles that people can pick from, but usually, guys just tell me what they want. It’s mostly locals and some office workers who stop by on their lunch break. I keep a bottle of water for customers and a few old newspapers to read while they wait. Sometimes the door sticks a bit when it rains, but it’s an old building. I like working on Mount Road because there's always something to see. My hands are always busy with scissors or a comb. I don't use a computer or anything for bookings, people just walk in and wait their turn. It’s simple like that. I've known some of these guys for years. We talk about cricket or the weather mostly. It’s just a regular hair cutting shop, nothing more. I make sure the towels are washed and the floor is tidy before I go home and lock up.
