Yummy Bites

You can find Yummy Bites at Booth Number 91 on the Railway Crossing Road in Mani Majra. We are quite close to the Modern Complex, which is a big landmark around here. Our shop is just a small booth. There isn't a lot of room inside, so it’s mostly for quick bites and takeaways. We set up here because there is always a lot of foot traffic near the railway crossing. People are always in a hurry, so we try to have things ready as fast as we can. It’s just a couple of us working here. We handle the cooking, the cleaning, and the serving all by ourselves. Chandigarh is a planned city, but this part of Mani Majra feels a bit more lived-in and busy. The noise from the trains and the cars is something we’ve just gotten used to over the months. We don't have any fancy signs or big lights. We just have our booth number and the name Yummy Bites on the front. We make small snacks and meals that are easy to eat on the go. Sometimes we run out of space for all our supplies, so we have to be very organized with our stock. We don't use any corporate talk here. We just tell you what we have and how much it costs. It’s a simple way to earn a living. We enjoy seeing the same faces every day when people walk past the crossing. It keeps us going even on the very long days.
