Visual Media

Visual Media is tucked away in the basement of Sco-114-15 in Sector-34 A, Chandigarh. Being in a basement means we don’t get much natural light, but we’ve set up enough lamps to keep things bright enough to work. It actually helps us focus on the media stuff we do without getting distracted by what’s happening on the street outside. Sector-34 A is a very busy area, so it’s actually kind of nice to be a bit below the ground level where it’s slightly quieter. The office is a mix of computers, cables, and some comfortable chairs where we sit for hours. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the equipment, but we know where everything is. We don’t have a big fancy sign or a reception desk with a bowl of mints. It’s just a working studio where we get things done. People come down the stairs to see us about various projects, and we usually have some tea going in the corner. It’s an honest workspace for people who like to create things. Sometimes it gets a bit stuffy, but we just open the door for a bit and keep going. Working in Chandigarh’s media scene from a basement might sound strange to some, but for us, it’s just where we do our thing. We don’t need much else besides our tools and a bit of quiet to finish our daily tasks.
