We have been operating out of Booth No. 4289 in Sector 22-D for a good while now. It is not a massive space, but it serves our purposes just fine for the work we do. Handling diamonds and various stones involves a lot of sitting and looking closely at very small things. My father actually started this whole thing years ago, and most of us here have just kept it going. The mornings in Sector 22-D are usually pretty quiet until the tea stall around the corner opens up and everyone starts moving. We spend the bulk of our day sorting through inventory, checking weights on the scales, and talking to people who drop by the booth. It gets a bit dusty in here sometimes because of the location, but we don't mind much. On some days the phones seem like they will never stop ringing, while on other days we just sit back and drink chai while going over the books. People in the area know where to find us because we have stayed in this exact same spot for such a long time. It is a very steady kind of life. We do not have a fancy office with big glass walls or anything like that. It is just a few desks, our equipment, and a lot of folders. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we just wait it out. It is a simple, practical setup. We handle what comes in and keep things going.
