Tilak Tent & Decorators

We’ve been based out of Sector 8 2nd Stage for quite some time. Being near the Gurudwara means we see a lot of activity every single day. Tilak Tent & Decorators is basically a small team of us handling all the heavy stuff. It's mostly about moving pipes, fabric, and chairs from one place to another. Some days are incredibly long, especially during the wedding season when everything happens at once. We keep most of our gear stored here at number 20. It gets pretty dusty and crowded in the warehouse, but we know where everything is. People usually just drop by or call us when they have a function coming up. We don't really do much fancy talk. We just show up, set the tents up, and make sure the decorations are where they need to be. It’s physically demanding work, and my back definitely feels it after a long weekend. Sometimes the weather doesn't play nice, and we have to rush to cover things up if it starts raining unexpectedly. We’ve seen all sorts of events, from small family gatherings to bigger celebrations. It's just a local business, nothing too complicated. We live and work right here in the community, so we know most of our neighbors. It’s not always easy keeping track of all the inventory, but we manage. We’re just regular people trying to get the job done right so the event goes on as planned.
