The Great Bear

Sector 26 in Chandigarh is known for having a lot of places to eat and hang out. We are located at SCO-32 on Madhya Marg, which is one of the main roads in the city. There is an ICICI Bank right near us, so people use that as a landmark to find the building. Chandigarh is a very planned city, but this area still gets quite jammed with cars on Friday and Saturday nights. We have a space where people come to sit after work. It has a bit of an industrial look with bricks and pipes showing, which is just how we built it. We serve drinks and food to a lot of office goers from the nearby sectors. The music can get a bit loud sometimes, but that is usually what people are looking for when they come here. Our staff is mostly young guys who live in the city or the nearby towns. We have some large copper tanks that people like to look at because they are part of how we make things here. It isn't a quiet library kind of place; it is meant for talking and having a good time with friends. We don't have a dress code or anything stiff like that. You just walk in, find a spot, and stay as long as you want. It is just a regular part of the Chandigarh nightlife.
