We’ve been here serving food for a long time. Dhabas are supposed to be simple, and that’s exactly what we are. We have some tables and chairs, a kitchen that’s always going, and not much else. It’s the kind of place where you come to eat and then move on with your day. We get a mix of people—workers, families, and even some tourists who want to see a real Chandigarh dhaba. The atmosphere is loud and a bit chaotic during lunch and dinner times. We don’t have air conditioning or fancy decorations. It’s mostly just the smell of the food and the sound of people talking. We use the same recipes we’ve had for years. My family has been involved in this for a while, and we just keep the tradition going in our own way. Sector 22B is a good spot because there’s always foot traffic. We don't do anything special to attract people; they just come in because they’re hungry. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and dealing with the heat from the stove. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. We are just a small part of the food scene here in the city.
