Shree Rathnam Restaurants

We are set up in Sector 35c over in Chandigarh. You can find us at SCO 405-406 on the ground floor. It’s a nice enough area. Chandigarh is laid out in a way that makes sense, so finding us isn't too hard. We have been here for a bit now. We do mostly vegetarian food. The place is quite large because it takes up two units. We have plenty of space for families to sit. It’s not a fancy fine-dining setup. It’s just a place where you can get a decent meal without spending a fortune. We see a lot of students and families on the weekends. The staff here is pretty relaxed. We don't wear those stiff uniforms you see in the big hotels. We just wear what works. The kitchen is always busy making sambar and chutneys. You can smell it from the sidewalk. We try to keep the place cool since it gets hot outside in the summer. The floor is easy to clean and the lights are bright. We don't have a lot of art on the walls or anything. It’s more about the food than the look. People know us for being consistent. If you are walking around Sector 35, just look for the ground floor shops. We are right there at 160022. It’s just us doing what we do every day. No bells and whistles, just plates of food and a place to sit. It gets loud sometimes but that is part of the fun.
