Piccadily Restaurant And Bar (Blue Ice)

If you know Chandigarh, you know Sector 17-E is where everyone ends up eventually. We are at SCO-7, right in the middle of all that activity. Some people call us Piccadily and others know the Blue Ice part of the name. It’s been a staple in this market for quite some time now. The building is one of those classic Chandigarh structures, nothing too modern on the outside. Inside, we just try to keep a decent atmosphere for folks who want to sit down after shopping or working in the nearby offices. It gets really lively on the weekends, but during the week, it’s a bit more relaxed. We have the bar area and the restaurant side, and we try to keep them both ticking along. The staff knows the regulars by name, which is nice. We don't have any grand speeches about what we do. We just open the doors, turn on the coolers, and start the day. Sometimes the music is a little loud, sometimes it’s quiet, it just depends on who is working the shift. The market outside is always changing, with new shops opening and old ones closing, but we’ve managed to stay put at SCO-7. It’s a lot of work keeping a place going in Sector 17, but we like being part of the noise and the history of this area. It can get exhausting when the crowds are big, but we just take it one order at a time.
