Oregano Restaurant & Bar (J W Marriott Hotel)

We’ve been here at the JW Marriott on Dakshin Marg for a good while now. Sector 35b in Chandigarh is always busy, and being right in the hotel, we see a lot of folks coming through. It’s a bit of a mix of people staying upstairs and locals who just want to grab a bite or a drink after work. Most days, we’re just keeping things moving, making sure the tables are set and the bar is ready for the evening rush. You can find us at Plot No- 6. It’s not a complicated place. We just focus on getting the food out and making sure people feel okay while they’re sitting with us. Sometimes the kitchen gets pretty loud when things pick up, but that’s just how it is in a hotel restaurant. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but the vibe in Sector 35b stays pretty much the same. It’s got that specific Chandigarh feel. If you’re around the Dakshin Marg area, you probably know where the hotel is already. We don’t do anything fancy with the way we talk about ourselves. We just show up, open the doors, and get to work every day. Whether it’s a quiet afternoon or a packed Saturday night, we just try to keep it steady. It’s a lot of work running a place like this inside a big hotel, but we’ve got a rhythm down now. We just do our thing.
