Manimajra Chicken Corner

Our shop, Manimajra Chicken Corner, is at Shop Number 107 on Old Ropar Road in Mani Majra. We are right across from Bhajan Dhaba, which most people in Chandigarh know about. We have been here for quite a while now. It is a small place and we don't have any of those modern decorations you see in the new parts of the city. We mostly do roasted chicken and tandoori items. The fire in the tandoor stays hot from late afternoon until we close up for the night. It is a lot of work standing by that heat, but it is what we do. We have some regular customers who come by every single week for their dinner. Some of them just park their cars outside and we take the food out to them. We don't have a big seating area, just a few stools if you want to eat quickly. We don't use any fancy marketing or social media tricks. The smell of the chicken cooking on the coals is all the advertising we really need. We try to keep the prices fair so that everyone in the neighborhood can afford a good meal. Sometimes we run out of chicken before the night is over if it's a holiday or a weekend. We just do our best with what we have each day.
