Kfc Fast Food Restaurant

Our place is located at House No 253 in Sector 29/A here in Chandigarh. It’s a Kfc Fast Food Restaurant, so you can imagine it gets pretty noisy with the fryers going all day long. We spend most of our time in the kitchen or behind the counter. The smell of the spices is always in the air, and we are used to it by now. It’s a busy spot, especially when the school kids or the office workers nearby come in for a quick bite. We spend a lot of time cleaning the tables and making sure the floor isn't slippery. The building is just a regular house style that we’ve turned into a shop. Sometimes the delivery bikes are parked all over the front and we have to go out and tell them to move a bit so people can walk past. We have a small team here and we all know each other well. It’s not a quiet job, there’s always someone shouting out an order or a timer beeping. We have a few benches for people to sit while they wait for their bags of food. It feels like a local hangout more than anything else. We stay open late most nights because that's when people get hungry for a snack. It's just honest work, making sure the chicken is cooked and the drinks are cold before we head home. We also have to keep an eye on the supply truck when it arrives.
